The State of Missouri’s Streams Report
Missouri Stream Team has trained over 5,700 water quality volunteers since 1993. This report features dissolved oxygen, temperature, nitrate, ammonia, phosphate, turbidity, pH, conductivity, and chloride data from over 13,000 sample events at 2,154 stream sites in Missouri.
All of the available data were used and regional comparisons were made for each of the water quality parameters.
This effort was made possible through the compliation and interpretation work of Dan Obrecht and Tony Thorpe, University of Missouri Senior Research Associates, and with guidance from the Missouri Stream Team Program.
This project was funded through a grant from the Missouri Department of Conservation.
